MailCall Anti-Spam Policy

E-Mail campaigns have proven to be an excellent and cost effective method of communicating with subscribers that have requested inclusion into your mailing list. However, the sending of e-mail to e-mail addresses that have not requested your mailing or have opted-out of your subscriber list is a cause of serious concern.

Anti-Spam Policy

VeriCom Services has no tolerance for accounts that send Spam. Spam is defined as unsolicited mass e-mail to persons with whom you do not have a business relationship or have not requested (opted-in to) your mailing. Your account will be terminated immediately if you send Spam.

The CAN-SPAM act of 2003 establishes requirements for those who send commercial e-mail, spells out penalties for spammers and companies whose products are advertised in spam if they violate the law, and gives consumers the right to ask emailers to stop spamming them. For more information regarding the CAN-SPAM act go to http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/canspam.shtm

As a user of MailCall, you are agreeing to send only permission-based e-mail. Subscribers to an opt-in list can be acquired by a sign-up form on your web site or on a physical sign-up sheet. The opt-in form should include a clear description of what will be sent and how often it will be sent.

VeriCom Services does not permit the use of lists that have been purchased.

Each mailing must include a method by which the subscriber can opt-out of the list so that future mailings are not received. Per the CAN-SPAM act of 2003, the sender shall, within 10 days of receipt of the request to opt-out of the list, remove the subscriber from the e-mail list.

The subject line of the mailing may not be fraudulent or misleading.

Mailings shall clearly identify the sender's valid physical address.

VeriCom Services also reserves the right to monitor all lists. Failure to adhere to the terms as described in the CAN-SPAM act of 2003 will result in the immediate termination of services from VeriCom Services MailCall and the sender could be subjected to significant fines and penalties.
